Copyright policy
This policy covers every website and service run by Evident Business Solutions ("EBS"): evident.biz, the free websites at ebs.page, the QR codes and short links at ebsqr.com, and files people upload to the EBS Portal. We respect copyrights and follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. 512.

How to send a copyright notice
If you believe something on one of our services uses your copyrighted work without permission, send our agent a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name works for email).
- The copyrighted work you believe was infringed, or a list if there are several.
- The material you want removed and where it is, such as the full ebs.page or ebsqr.com address and which photo or text.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
When we receive a complete notice, we promptly remove or disable the material and tell the person who posted it. Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a false claim that material is infringing can be liable for damages.
How to send a counter notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentified, send our agent a counter notice that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and phone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which EBS may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.
We send a copy of a valid counter notice to the person who sent the original notice. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to stop the use, we put the material back within 10 to 14 business days after we received the counter notice.
Repeat infringers
We end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe copyrights. Each valid notice we act on counts as a strike against the account that posted the material.
- An account with three strikes within 12 months is ended. Its free websites, QR codes, and short links are turned off, and its email address cannot make new ones.
- We may end an account after a single notice when the infringement is clear and deliberate.
- A strike is removed when the material is put back after a valid counter notice.
